Beautiful Architecture and Elegant Spaces

The Dariali Monastery may look impressive at first glance, yet it’s important to recognize that it is a relatively new addition to this historic trade route, with its construction beginning only in 2005 under the guidance of Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II.
The dedicated monks residing there share that they played a significant role in building and decorating this beautiful place, creating stunning mosaics, intricate metalwork, and a remarkable collection of churches (12 different churches). It’s quite moving to think that the first church, the Michael and Gabriel Archangel Church, didn’t open its doors to the public until 2011.
The Cellar Shop
In the cellar, of which is beautifully designed, some exclusive bottles of wines and spirits are stored. You can find small batches of Georgian brandy aged in oak barrels and also Chacha.
You can also purchase herbs and spices, such as mint and roses as well as honey.
